What CarKept does

Never miss a service — reminders before an oil change, tyre rotation, brakes or inspection, using both time and mileage.
No GPS, ever — mileage is estimated only from odometer readings you type in yourself. CarKept never tracks where you drive.
Your complete history — every service with cost, odometer, shop, notes and receipt photos.
Fuel and running costs — track fill-ups to see MPG and cost per mile over time.
CSV and PDF export and import, so the history leaves with you or with the car.
Survives a restart — reminders reschedule themselves after the phone reboots.

Default service intervals are manufacturer-generic starting points you can edit. Always follow your vehicle's owner's manual.

What you record lives in an encrypted database on your own device. There is no account to create, no analytics watching you, and no server of ours holding a copy — so there is nothing for us to leak, sell or lose. Export your data whenever you like; nothing you have already written down disappears if you stop paying.
