SubAudit Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

SubAudit does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

SubAudit (“the app”, “we”) is a subscription tracker built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. It is written to be honest and plain, not to be long.

What data the app stores

Subscriptions you add — name, price, billing cycle, dates, category, and notes — are stored only in an encrypted database on your device. We never see this data. It is never uploaded to a server, because SubAudit has no server and no user accounts.

Data we do not collect

Notifications

Renewal and trial-end reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a server and require no data to leave your phone.

Purchases (SubAudit Pro)

If you buy SubAudit Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and validated through RevenueCat, our billing provider. We receive only an anonymous entitlement status (“Pro: yes/no”) and a non-identifying purchase token — never your payment details.

Data export

You can export your own subscription data to a CSV file (a Pro feature) using the system share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice; SubAudit does not send it anywhere.

Data deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting it is entirely in your control: delete individual subscriptions in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything. There is no account to delete, because there is no account.

Children

SubAudit is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will ship with the corresponding app update.
