PetVault Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-08

PetVault ("the app", "we") is a pet health tracker built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. It is written to be honest and plain, not to be long.

The short version

PetVault does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What data the app stores

Your pets' profiles, health records (vaccinations, treatments, medications, vet visits), weight entries, and any photos you attach are stored only in an encrypted database (and app-private storage) on your device. We never see this data. It is never uploaded to a server, because PetVault has no server and no user accounts.

Data we do NOT collect

Photos

Photos you attach (e.g. vet paperwork) are copied into app-private storage and never leave your device unless you explicitly share them.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent through a server.

Exports you choose to share

If you use the Pro "PDF health record", the PDF is created on your device and shared only through the share sheet you explicitly invoke.

Purchases

Optional Pro features are sold through the Apple App Store / Google Play (via RevenueCat). Those platforms process payment; PetVault never sees your payment details.

Not medical advice

Preset vaccine/treatment intervals are conservative editable defaults to help you record schedules โ€” not veterinary advice. Always confirm with your vet.

Children

PetVault is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
