DoseSafe ("the app", "we") is a medication reminder built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. It is written to be honest and plain, not to be long.
DoseSafe does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your health data or any other personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
The medications you add — name, dose, schedule, optional stock count, notes — and your dose history (taken / skipped / missed) are stored only in an encrypted database on your device. We never see this data. It is never uploaded to a server, because DoseSafe has no server and no user accounts.
DoseSafe schedules reminders locally on your device using the operating system's alarm/notification features. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through any server.
If you use the Pro "doctor-visit PDF report", the PDF is created on your device and shared only through the share sheet you explicitly invoke (e.g. to email it to yourself or your doctor). We are not involved in that transfer.
Optional Pro features are sold through the Apple App Store / Google Play (via RevenueCat). Those platforms process the payment; DoseSafe never sees your payment details.
DoseSafe is a reminder and logging tool. It does not provide medical, dosing, or drug-interaction advice, and it is not a medical device. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions.
DoseSafe is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
